One of my top ten favorites! This one hooked me to horror in my teens. Classic one liners and Carpenter’s soundtrack is hauntingly spot-on for setting tone for the dread that ensues. 🛸🧊👾
The one problem I’ve always had with this film is that (unlike the 1951 The Thing from Another World), you really can’t like any of the human characters. Each time another one is killed, it’s like “Good riddance!”
